My Groom Speech Preparations

I knew the day I decided to get married I would have to come up with the groom speech. The day came close and it just hit me that I hadn’t started working on it as yet. Oh dear! I finally realized that I had to start getting into it. I took a piece of paper and a pen but the words were not coming so I went for a walk trying to refresh my mind.
All of a sudden, my groom speech started looking like a real challenge. It crossed my mind that I had to stand in front of all these people (and possibly make a fool of myself with the groom wedding toast) which just made it worse as I was running out of time. As long as you organize yourself better than me and start thinking about it on time, you will be ahead of me. Do not leave your groom speech too late.
I needed something funny and entertaining for the groom speech and I started thinking about how I met my bride, what we went through together, the fun and not so fun time we’ve had together and now we are standing here, getting married. I started putting information down on the paper in no particular order so I could sort it our later. When I tried to make the groom’s speech perfect on the paper I didn’t get anywhere, it just blocked me from getting the groom speech right.
The major thing is not to think about making the wedding speech funny or writing it in any sort of order as long as you write down your thoughts on a piece of paper for a start.
This was already some start in getting together my groom speech and I was pleased with myself.
